Sorry for taking a bit to reply, I'm drawing everything out! So you'll see all those answers very soon, by the end of today or tomorrow.
But the first question, that's difficult! I'm working on about 8 stories at the moment, so I have many favorites. The top two had to duke it out.
Fon Gai won against Tsela because Tsela doesn't enjoy fighting, and doesn't fight unless he's fighting for a noble cause, with due reason.
Fon Gai has no problem fighting as long as he benefits. He's kind of a jerk in the beginning, he's got a ways to go in terms of character development. Plus he has mushroom power and enjoys that to his advantage.

So hey you know that monster Kriola unleashed in S5? I have a theory. Why does it look so familiar? Well. We know that Shiro disappeared and then clone Shiro was created. How did Shiro disappear? In a bright flash, probably of quintessence light. Meaning, he was probably absorbed into the quintessential realm. Meaning that... maybe, just maybe, this monster is the real Shiro.
oh jeez I’m just...I’m giggling because that would be such a blatant catering to monster fuckers, if the Voltron writers don’t want a sudden influx of teratophiliacs then they better not make Shiro a monster bc I’m pretty sure we will all still want to fuck him
while an interesting theory, I personally think Shiro is either a) trapped in the astral realm, b) imprisoned on a Galra ship somewhere, or c) on Earth. I think the monster has something to do with the monsters which helped to destroy Daibazaal.
