I started to write more last year in June. I finished my first book ever, #JordieInCharge by the end of June. I finished #AvaleesVoice in July & #CalidasForge in August. I never wrote every day. Life sometimes interrupted that. There was a good month-and-a-half where I did not write it all because I was sick. Its crazy to me to see how far I have come looking back. Looking at Jordie's first edits is like OMG! 😂 Here I am now, not even a true year in, working on book 6!! #DevansTenacity where 19 year old Devan has flashbacks & PTSD. I am excited to write it. I even used plot points (I am a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pantser typically) to plan out how I want This story to evolve. My editor would be so proud lol. In each book I try to bring something new to the table. Each book has a little bit of my life in it with a new age problem setting. For example Jordie being 17 & pregnant. Or Calida being a young adult caring for a toddler sister. Or Irie being super insecure with a plethora of anxiety. Anyhoot back to the grind. Got my coffee. Its probably cold now, ooopps.
