Quick question: I’m curious - what flowers, if any, are symbolic to you? Longer story: it’s well documented that the Victorians loved symbolism. Gemstones. Animals. Flowers. They all had hidden, and not sometime not-so-hidden, meanings. For example, the forget-me-not, a simple, tiny blue flower, was a flower not only of remembrance (I mean…. It’s called a forger-me-not, for goodness sake), but it held another symbolic overtone, that of true love. This little forget-me-not was once a tiny stick pin that I converted to a pendant and it awaits its next chapter.
