The writing in this game is excellent and I liked the little humorous moments through the adventure like these. I recommend buying it on Steam (or GOG!) when it’s on sale if you like turn-based strategy games with great writing and a lot of exploring. I have a couple complaints about the game, though, like the lack of music and slow travel. I honestly thought your companions actually got more annoying personality wise as the game progressed, even after their side quests, but that’s just me.
Avadon 3: The Warborn
There's the final Avadon game beaten. It was mostly enjoyable. The world was well-developed, although I didn't find the setting as interesting as any of Vogel's other series. The gameplay remains not my thing, but seems competently done. The characters were mostly interesting, but I definitely stuck with my favorites.
Worth playing, but when compared to the other two CRPGs I've recently played, Torment and Tyranny, I'd rank it at the bottom.
