“I guess so, yes”, the elemental giggled in response. She didn’t mind that in the slightest. Ava was fun, beautiful, and confident, and they had had such a good time before, so much that Lula had visited the bar in the hope to find the other again. Tallulah had not seen the other leaving but nodded in confirmation as she turned and scanned the room. “Where is everyone else? Do… Uh do we have to leave too?” She didn’t really want to. It was late but Lula enjoyed the atmosphere, the slight intoxication her drinks had provided her with, and of course, she wanted to learn more about Ava. “Are you going to go?”

Well, okay. It’s not actually Sector Five; it’s that weird, alternate Sector Five. Still, Neptune’s ended up stuck in the area, and he’s not too happy about it. He’s helped some NPCs escape the area, patrolled for any small children, and he’s about to hightail it out of there once he thinks things are relatively safe -- that is, until he sees the skeletons.

          ( neptune sucks in a breath, eyes widening. )

      ❝Nico...❞

Blindly, Neptune pushes toward the sector, coughing as he gets closer and closer to the vibrant flames. He scans the area for any sign of Nico, even knowing -- knowing -- knowing it’s impossible. Knowing Nico is...

          ( nico is dead. )

Still, Neptune knows Nico’s skeletons when he sees them, and he knows -- he knows --

But he doesn’t know anything. Neptune reaches the center of the sector, and his footfalls stutter to a halt. He stares. It isn’t Nico, not at all -- it’s the source of all this fire: A tiny, furious-looking, utterly terrifying girl. Neptune swallows.
