whilst Ava doesn't like being interrupted while she's working, she will admit that having Hamletta around can make things less lonely when she's up coding late at night. If she stops to scratch her behind the ears, nobody has to know.
Merlok likes to ramble on and tell Hamletta stories whenever nobody else is around. It helps with his memory and she always seems so engaged when he talks about his old battles. Besides, being a computer program who can hardly leave the Fortrex can get really isolating. It helps to have a little listener to chat with.
