oh hi thank you!!!
4. what do you wish you could tell your past self?
i think iĀ would tell myself that itās okay to not be out or even completely comfortable with my identity right away. coming out is a process and some people wait longer than others--that isnāt anything to be ashamed of and it doesnāt alienate you from the LGBT+ community.
15. are you comfortable with yourself?
in terms of sexuality, not quite yet but imĀ working on it!! iāve known that iām bi since i was 11 (imĀ 18 now) and i still feel a little weird about it. my family really liked jokes about butch or masculine lesbians when i was growing up, and theyāve changed and i love them, but iām still incredibly insecure about not presenting feminine enough for their standards and everyone elseās.
27. tell me a random fact about yourself?
iāllĀ be done with my freshman yr at dartmouth college in three days :~)
30. any advice to someone who isnāt out or who is exploring themselves?
everyone is different! you are allowed toĀ ātry onā multiple labels, you can come out whenever you want to whoever you want, itās totally okay! trust your gut and take this part of your life at your own pace. i didnāt come out to my family until i left for college and it was fine. prioritize your comfort and safety!
