like, looking back to when i started, i can't believe how scared of reapers i was, y'know? and yeah, some things like the ghosties you just have to avoid or hit with the stasis rifle so you can get past, but if you pay attention and learn about the animals + the areas they keep to it's pretty easy to do.

eventually (for the most part) stopped using the fabricator for cooking fish and taught himself how to prep them. he finds doing something routine with his hands relaxing.

figured out how to synthesize hair dye from plants, and in combination with bleach, still dyes a streak of his hair bright blue.

sprawls when he sleeps: facedown, limbs everywhere, one foot sticking out from under the blankets, just a complete mess. half the time his head's not on the pillow.

in going through the few still-functioning computers on aurora, he found a lot of music, which he downloaded to his pda and listens to while traveling/trying to sleep (yes, he will sing while piloting the seamoth)

keeps a hand-drawn map of the crater in the notes app of the pda (i need to replicate this at some point; i think it would be cool), using beacons to measure distances and directions

also has a to-do list in the notes app. being off adhd medication causes him to have bad brain fog days, so he tries to write down everything he needs to do and will just check the list when he can't remember something

gets really giddy and giggly about honking the cyclops horn at reefbacks and hearing them call back. he loves the reefbacks.

after fixing aurora's drive core, he'll sometimes sit at the stern of the ship and toss fish to the reaper leviathan there. though he still tries to keep a respectful distance from the reapers, after a certain point he's not afraid of them in the slightest
