With a résumé of this caliber, the question is rarely, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” because the trajectory is already visible. Respect is not regained through explanation; it is earned through strategic execution and a consistent understanding of risk management.

My approach has always been rooted in long-term value. Whether I ultimately serve as a Chief Clinical Officer, Vice President, or remain at the director level earning $150,000 annually, the title is only one part of the equation. What matters just as much is how that position is leveraged—how each decision supports a broader investment strategy that creates influence beyond a single role.

That is also why I intend to complete my PhD. Not for honorary recognition, but because the doctorate gives me the academic foundation to develop programs that can be used as professional coursework for others in the field. My vision is to create educational training modules and behavioral systems that professionals can take as structured courses, with a certificate upon completion, in a way that reflects the continuing education model seen at institutions such as Harvard University.

The goal is not simply to hold another credential. It is to build original programs that can support clinicians, strengthen Applied Behavior Analysis practice, and provide accessible education that carries both practical value and professional credibility. The PhD is not just another degree—it is what allows me to transform knowledge into something that can formally educate others.

So, to wrap this up as my final Tumblr post while I transition and update my blog policies before returning to the clinical floor: if your home life is established and your foundation is already in place, becoming a traveling BCBA can be an exceptional lifestyle.
