How I Create Automatic Lyrics Videos for Instagram Reels (No Typing Needed!)
Nowadays almost every viral reel you see has perfectly synced lyrics appearing on the screen.
Many people think creators manually type every word… but actually there is a much easier way.
In this post I’ll explain a simple method I personally use to add lyrics automatically to any song video.
First, select your song and import it into your editing app (CapCut or Alight Motion).
Most editors don’t know this — the app can actually detect voice from the music and convert it into subtitles. Once subtitles are generated, you don’t need to type lyrics at all.
After generating subtitles: • Adjust the timing slightly where the words are late or early
• Change the font to a stylish or aesthetic text
• Add small fade / pop animation to make it look professional
• Highlight important words with different color
That’s it. Your normal video suddenly looks like a professional lyric video.
Why this works?
People don’t just watch reels… they read them. When lyrics appear on screen, viewers stay longer, engagement increases and reels get pushed by Instagram algorithm.
