My cats do the same. And if I leave my gym bag open with workout clothes still in it, they go lie over them... Must something about sweat, odors, etc.
yeah, i mean, they’re both really interested in body odour but usually they just smell it and then leave, whereas apparently after workout i smell in a way that warrants cuddling ^^ natalunasans replied to your post ...

oh! withasmoothroundstone, autisticzombie: if either of you has the time & spoons to answer whether you know if there is something specific in workout sweat (like idk, pheromones? dopamine??) that makes it smell good/attractive for cats, i’d be thrilled. :3 i would google it but idrk what to google. and there is nothing in my cat behaviour books about this ...
