Hmm…not really sure how I’d determine a name to be underrated. I wanted to name my first girl Miriam, but that’s my chosson’s mother’s Hebrew name so now we can’t use it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But I don’t think that’s particularly underrated.

Most of the names I like for potential kids’ names I like because of the meaning or association with a particular person, not necessarily the name per se. Miriam HaNevia was awesome, and that’s also the closest Hebrew equivalent of my grandmother’s name, so that’s why I wanted that. I also have some really positive associations with Dina because of a sicha of the Rebbe about her, but I don’t love the name itself, so I’m not sure I’d use it. I also kind of want to name a girl after the Alter Rebbe’s daughter Freida because she was also awesome, but I don’t like the nickname Freidy, so again, not sure I’d use it.

what’s the third new language you’re doing???

If you only count the time I’ve been actively working on this, it’s taken me around an hour and a half to transcribe 7 minutes. But if you count the time that it’d taken plus adhd it’s been almost 12 hours of trying to get myself to do it.
