7. Favourite author?
I love Rick Riordanās Percy Jackson series, am fully updated (Iāve read nearly every book published in the series - aside from the guide like books, you know what I mean?) and simply adore his characters and how he portrays them.
Heās inspired me a lot and his books never fail to impress me and engulf me in their worlds. Ugh, I could write an entire essay about him.
Thereās also Malorie Blackman - her Noughts and Crosses series was the best thing Iāve ever read, with detailed characters. However, some of her other books (The Deadly Dare Mysteries, Dangerous Reality and Hacker) were lacking in the quality thatād originally drawn me in.
I also used to like Linda Chapman as a child, especially her Stardust series, but thatās mostly for those under ten. I could read her books in an hour and they encouraged me to get into writing and reading. I guess that, even though now her writing is not as great as the other two in hindsight, she caused me to become an author.
I know this was a fairly simple question, but I couldnāt help but ramble about these authors. Also, one of the reasons I love them - they take time with the relationships! Yes, Callum and Sephyās (of Blackmanās Noughts and Crosses series) relationship was a little rushed, but it was so well played out. Donāt even get me started on Leo and Calypso!
Anyway, Iād say my favourite authors are Rick Riordan, partially Malorie Blackman and originally Linda Chapman. If you havenāt read any or one (or two) of them and you have the time, go do it (even though Chapman is more for kidsā¦).
Sorry it got so long!
