The work manifests the condition of life in Norwegian forests, which revolves around the concept of dwelling, “home”, with a broad meaning of the term. The house is venue for coexistence, heat, protection, rest but it is also a presence on its own. The installation reproduces the crystallization of a house in the forest, which remains suspended in a condition of permanence, which portends a sort of integration, of harmony with the surrounding, although it maintains aritificial identity. The inner cosmos that is created in the hearth here merges with the outside world, the macrocosm made of the entire life of the forest surrounding and permeating the building itself. Here the house is not only the bright center of the installation, but the whole representation, which harmoniously blends the concept of residence for the man and the animal.

L'opera manifesta la condizione di vita nelle foreste norvegesi, che ruota attorno al concetto di abitazione, di “casa”, con un'accezione larga del termine. La casa è sede della convivenza, del calore, della protezione, del riposo ma è anche presenza a se stante. L'installazione riproduce la cristallizzazione di una casa nella foresta, che resta sospesa in una condizione di permanenza, la quale lascia presagire una sorta di integrazione, di armonia con il resto, pur mantenendo la sua identità artificiale. Il cosmo interiore che si crea nel focolare qui si fonde con il mondo esterno, il macrocosmo costituito da tutta la vita della foresta che circonda e permea la costruzione stessa. Qui la casa non è solo il centro luminoso dell'istallazione, ma la rappresentazione nel suo complesso, che miscela sapientemente il concetto di abitazione per l'uomo e per l'animale.
