Oh I don't mind at all! I absolutely love The Wire. Some people are kind of put off by it due to its slow start, but it's definitely a slow burn. Every scene of every episode has a purpose. Watching every season build up to its later episodes makes the slower earlier ones worth it...and I definitely don't mean "slow" in a bad way. :) It's just an extremely dense show with so much to it that it pretty much has to be slow in order to be effective. I highly recommend it but with the caveat of being patient and watching it carefully!
