@austenlnd asked: “you, my dear, are clearly the catch of the season.” from emma to amy march !
Amy cannot help the proud smile on her face. ❝ Of course. ❞ She has made sure to work hard for it, she would never be someone to leave something done just halfway and if she’s gonna get herself into such an adventure she must make sure that her ballet classes and the time reading 2nd hand romance books Meg was done with would come into use. Maybe she’s not a piano player like Beth but she can draw and that lends itself well to embroidery so of course she’s the catch of the season.
It’s all such an exciting experience. Of course she would never have enough money to waste it on something like it but when the opportunity came to work it during school break? She can have a brilliant experience and get some pocket money, after all, aunt March is already being kind enough to allow her to study, Amy couldn’t ask for more. And… maybe she send some money home for Marmie… For anything they may need. Or for other people who need it. Contrary to what it may seem, Amy is not completely heartless.
❝ Tell me, who should I allow to come closer? Or do I get to play favourites if I’m deemed the catch of the season? ❞
