It took a while for me to decide my top choice for Cycle 9 (I considered all of the top 5 for the number 1 spot at some point), but in the end I went with this impeccable shot of Lauren! She looks absolutely sensational in the gown and she modeled it flawlessly. She’s almost slithering down the wall, and I love the delicacy of her hands and the way she used her arms to frame her face. Speaking of which, she looks so divine here! She caught the light perfectly and her eyes are super intense and seductive. This was Lauren’s shining moment and her shot could easily grace the pages of any high fashion magazine! 

Alex proved she’d be a force to be reckoned with right from the start! She’s unbelievably beautiful in this shot, and she brought so much sexiness with her come hither stare without coming across even a little sleazy. Not only is this perfect for the natural beauty brief, it could plausibly be used for a variety of brand campaigns as well. Alex delivered so many outstanding shots during her time on the show but this will always be my favorite from her!

Jess slayed this photoshoot so hard! She’s really connected with her surroundings as if she’s some sort of nature deity, and her face is so dreamy and serene. She worked the dress super well, and the relaxed elongation of her body and all of the angles she created with her limbs resulted in her overall pose having such an exquisite silhouette. This picture of Jess is a straight up fantastical masterpiece! 

Izi became an instant favorite of mine with this photo! The shape of her face is breathtakingly gorgeous, and I love how her intent stare is alluring but shows a ton of vulnerability at the same time. Her body language has the perfect amount of timidness to match what she gave with her expression, and her hair looks flawless as well. It’s just a brilliant display of Izi’s natural beauty!

Jordan deserved so much more credit for this picture! Her face is spectacular, her eyes have so much understated power behind them and her profile is simply amazing. I have some issues with her leg position, but the symmetry of her pose is fantastic and she made the swimsuit look so good! It can be difficult to make a swimwear shoot feel truly high fashion, but Jordan definitely achieved it!

I had no clue Lauren was capable of something like this! She dominates the photo with ease and she created such a believably intimidating presence. I love how well she worked with Alyssa Sutherland too! As I’ve said before I don’t even mind that her face is in shadow since it makes her appear more sinister, and her profile is marvelous. Lauren was so robbed of the FCO for this shot!

I keep loving this picture more and more! Alex’s pose is extremely creative and I’m super impressed by how she made it appear so effortless. She worked the entire voluminous outfit from head to toe without being swallowed by it. Her face is amazing too, her bone structure caught the light perfectly and her moody expression is on point. Alex went out on one of her finest shots!

Brittany did an awesome job of creating a truly candid shot! She’s just off in her own fabulous world taking a moment to fix her makeup while being blissfully unaware of the camera, and there’s a subtle grunginess to this that I love. Her face is so gorgeous, and her body is unposed in the best way. I think this was the peak of Brittany’s portfolio!
