AuSable Chasm ๐๏ธ
We tent-camped at AuSable Chasm Campground with very little foliage between the campsites. I highly recommend signing up for the lantern tour. It took about an hour and a half to do the full yellow trail in the dark, but the trail was easy (bar for a lot of steps) and we got sโmores as a treat.
We finished all the available trails at AuSable the next morning so we took an afternoon trip to Vermont on the ferry. Well worth the $15 round trip ticket.

I love trains, and so for my birthday last year my boyfriend organized a camping trip and brought me to this little train you can ride through the woods. It might have been considered childish, but I loved it. He even bought me popcorn to eat on the ride (it barely even made it to the train before it was gone).
The Michigan AuSable Valley Railroad is a 1/4-scale ridable miniature railway, located in Fairview, Michigan. The railroad runs through the scenic Huron National Forest and the Comins Creek Valley. The owners have set up fake animals around for jokes and puns that the conductor tells on the ride.
