Levi wasn’t going to marry anyone, he didn’t even love anyone Levi don’t have time for that. Petra was too young for Levi (being 34), like Eren is (being 15), Petra was 19 years old. Let me explain. It was confirmed that Oluo was 19 in Snk and Hajime Isayama, himself, has stated that Oluo and Petra were from the same batch of trainees so to put in a nutshell Petra was 19. This means that Levi likes Petra as a very good friend (like Hanji/Hange or Farlan and Isabel) but not in a romantic way. Petra was comfort to him like Hanji is and probably she reminded him a little of Isabel (his little sister and yes I know she wasn’t his REAL sister). The reason, for me, he looked at her corpse the longest probably he felt like he couldn’t protect her like he couldn’t protect Isabel (yes it was confirmed also that Levi was very protective over Isabel). Petra was only acting/being mature because she wanted to impress Levi. In my point of view, Levi doesn’t have time for relationships because he’s to busy trying to get rid of the Titans but hey I’m just saying. But people in the Snk/AoT fandom should ship who they want, I personnaly love Hanji x Levi & Petra x Oluo but Petra & Levi is good too just like Eren x Levi. One more thing: people can hate who they want, for what ever reasons, also. But I think Petra is very kind and beautiful
