Would you be willing to sell the pattern for the moth cape?
Well the short answer is there isn't one!
The long answer is that I'm not sure if you mean pattern in the most basic sense, where it's just the outer shapes cut out in paper, or if you mean a full, paint-by-numbers style moth wing pattern with the colours laid out for you and instructions.
There was once a very rough pattern that had some of the main outlines and colours marked out, but I just eyeballed most of it, and that paper has long since been recycled.
When it comes to the basic pattern, it really is as simple as just drawing an upper and lower wing shape on a very large sheet of paper, and then a little central back panel to attach them to. I based mine on reference images of real moths, and it's not the kind of thing I think I could sell, given how easy that is to do without a pattern, but I suppose I'd be willing to make a quick tutorial post if people thought it would help.
As for a more elaborate pattern, I would be creating something completely new, and it would involve a lot of work I don't really have time for at the moment. I also think the paint-by-numbers approach is a bit too rigid, because half the beauty of recreating organic forms is that you don't have to make them neat and perfect!
