"H-how is it even possible to room a girl with a boy?!" 

"Why’re you asking me?" 

Sasuke looked around the cramped room, a small bag hanging loosely from his shoulder. He stared at the bunk bed for a few seconds, seemingly not caring about what Sakura was telling him. He threw his bag on the top bunk and climbed up to his new bed. He calmly fluffed up his pillow and laid on top of it, looking at the ceiling. 

"There must be a mistake!" Sakura stood by one of the two desks that were placed across the room, swinging her arms around frantically. "They messed up! We need to fix this!" 

"It’s fine, isn’t it? We’ve known each other for a long time, after all. Be grateful you didn’t get a creep."

"I did get a creep.” 

Sasuke rolled his eyes and leaned his head back, scoffing. He stretched his arm out and let it float off of the bed. “You know what I mean.” 

Sakura crossed her arms and let out a helpless breath. “Yeah…”

"But you know… If there ever are creeps bothering you, you can always come to me for help.” 

"I-I’m not the k-kind of girl to… attract those kind of people anyways," she blushed.

"You attracted me, didn’t you?" 

"Wha-" 

But Sasuke had turned his back to her and was now facing the wall, snoring away. 

"Sir, I’m very worried about your son." 

"What did that lil’ punk do now?"

Hiyori let out a breath. How could this man be a father? She doubted him when he had walked into her classroom. Not only were his clothes raggedy and dirty, but he looked rather young. 

"No, sir, Yukine-kun hasn’t done anything," she explained, setting herself down on her office chair, the man on the other side of her desk. "Please, sit." 

He obeyed, pulling one of the two chairs that were near him under his body and placing himself on it. 

"Then, why did you want to talk to me?" 

Hiyori sighed, “Mr…?” 

"Yato." 

"Yato-san, I’ve called you here today because Yukine-kun doesn’t seem to be getting along very well with his classmates and I’m worried about him." 

Yato scratched the back of his head. “He’s just like that, y’know?” 

"Well, maybe we should do something to change that. Middle school is a hard time for kids." Hiyori leaned onto her desk. 

Yato smirked and leaned back in his chair. “Why don’t we discuss this over dinner?” 

Hiyori’s cheeks flushed and she slightly pushed herself back and towards the chalkboard. “I-I don’t like to be teased! Especially by my students’ parents!” 

"What, are you married?" 

"…N-no, but-"

"Boyfriend?" 

"I-"

Yato reached forward, grabbing her from the wrist and pulling her towards him. He picked up a pen from the desk and scribbled something onto her hand. When he was done, he gently let go. 

"We can talk about Yukine tomorrow at Mosuto Diner. Text me your address and I’ll pick you up." 

Without another word, he stood from his chair and walked out of the classroom.
