I ran a spin the wheel and ROH won. I feel nervous sharing this a bit. This story—AU-wise and original story-wise—takes place in America. Wow, the NRC students are UNLUCKY to land THERE in particular. The original story, at first and probably still is, supposed to be commentary on certain societies and religion, as well as political landscapes.
How It Worked
Everyone on Earth is classified and categorized by their quad-yearly “sins.” If you were a Wrath Sinner, then after four years, you might become a Lust Sinner depending on your non-criminal actions. You may commit crimes related to your sin. If you’re a Greed Sinner, then you may commit theft or embezzlement, but if a Gluttony Sinner does the same they get punished by persecution. Their sins are monitored by their every move to summarize and categorize them into a new category every four years, and when turned on (in which it is almost ALWAYS on,) it will display their category on the small black screen. These collars cannot be clicked or switched off. Crimes may be shared by multiple sins (e.g Greed and Envy share some financial crimes, however Greed has the most of it.)
There were Ring Leaders that represented the Seven Deadly Sins for each nation. They controlled and oversaw their respective “Rings” (states) and yet were not world leaders.
Ring Leaders
As mentioned earlier, Ring Leaders were, for each nation, representatives and rulers of their respective states, but they had titles all the same. They had titles that were the names of the demons who originally represented their sin. They had a four-year term of ruling. The Ring Leaders were often cutthroat and tried to kill each other (looking at you, Alistair.) There are only two female ring leaders among them—Eleanor Chandler and Shuyu Liang.

Florian Garcia — SLOTH (sleepy ass jobless mfs IDIA GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE! Alaska, Hawaii, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florid— FLORIDA?????? IN SLOTH?)
Where Do The NRC Students Come In?
Well. As I said in earlier posts, they were isekaid into Earth six months after the leave of Shuyu and her colleagues. However, all 22 of them were split by dorm once they did enter Earth—coincidentally only a few miles away from the ringleaders' workspaces. So for example, Heartslabyul ended up in a forest, and wandered around aimlessly, only to find a militarial office and enter only to see Alistair carrying over paperwork.
Now, that they do not have collars… they do not have legal documents either. So they work for their respective ringleaders in exchange for forged legal documents (unfortunately with the caveat of being collared.)
The list below describes what they're working as beneath that region they fell beneath into.
Heartslabyul (Alistair)
As people working as his henchmen, they ALSO had to sign up for the army (they don't know shit about this 😭✌🏻.) Alistair, as a brigadier general, usually plans out mission coordinations and the Heartslabyul squad carries it out for him. So obviously, they are also soldiers and officers. In any other case, they wouldn't be deployed so much, but because they are ALISTAIR'S soldiers… They are Privates.
Savanaclaw (… Cyrus?)
Crazy. They work as chefs in Cyrus' restaurant, often chopping up the meat they are unsure is beef or human meat. Leona sleeps on the job often, to which Cyrus literally HURLS A KNIFE right next to his head. “Whoopsie daisies!” He giggles, but his smile doesn't quite reach his eyes. Leona's right awake by then. Ruggie's just glad about the food and the pay. Jack does NOT like the screaming from the shed in the distant forest.
They were supposed to be sloth but. Its funny as shit i can NOT pass up the opportunity
Octavinelle (Shuyu)
Stumbling in after a long walk from the foggy, distant, and cold woods in the south of Nevada, they are met with elegant neon signs flashing a rose gold color that they are all too familiar with—“The Serpentine House Casino.” They walk in as the clinking of money and business chatter chime into their ears. As they aimlessly walk around, they heard a door open, followed by a woman they know. They weren't expecting to see Shuyu there, especially when she told them there were multiple Serpentine House Casinos opened throughout the entire country. They believed they had a slim chance of it happening, but the odds were stacked in their favor that time.
Azul works as one of the pit bosses, Floyd goes on variously between jobs based on his mood (whether as a waiter, dealer, or cashier,) and Jade works as one of the bartenders.
Scarabia (Samuel)
PLEASE HEAR ME OUT
They work at the Dragon's Breath as waiters, with Kalim being one of them and Jamil being one of the chefs. Of course, due to his cooking, Jamil is one that has a higher wage.
Pomefiore (Aurelius)
Oh boy.
They have to work with narcissism 4.0.
Aurelius is a very cocky and arrogant man, on the contrary to Vil being confident and yet humble-ish. But it's understandable if Aurelius is as handsome/pretty as Vil himself. Sharp face, MANTITS, and very peacock-like.
They work as his assistants, with Vil being a model working alongside him. They don't like each other
Rook will NOT stop glazing them and Epel gets his little “manly” yet cutesy clothes.
Ignihyde (Florian)
Ah, yes.
Sleeping states
Listen, Idia still does a BUNCH of his hacking and working and so does Ortho and they do get hired and do freelancing and shit
But they primarily work for Florian as technicians or engineers and stuff
Diasomnia (Eleanor)
… I can hardly imagine any of them other than Lilia working in a circus/carnival.
They work there as circus skill apprentices though. This was to get paid more, and otherwise they set things up before the whole show starts.
There's that… do with that what you will… I'm going to do this as a Hunger Games but it's about information timing. ROH won and is shared, so all that's left is Sinclair and Rosewood Academy.
