THEORIZING TIME: SPOILERS
it has now been confirmed by the creator of the show that JJ CANNOT travel time due to his GENETICS. We were left confused, especially since *SPOILERS* it was kind of hinted that JJ might be Aurek’s grandad or related somehow (and he, eventually, becomes a time guardian) so….
do we think that Aurek’s storyline has been completely erased to give way to this fact, or was this very obvious from the get go and we just didn’t realize or maybe both??

Welp, Elfquest: The Final Quest has been a mind-boggling disappointment thusfar in terms of pacing, art quality (at least compared to Wendy Pini’s pre-SatS output), continuity, and characterization.
One of the casualties to the creative team’s desire to plow under any contributions other artists have made to Elfquest was Aurek’s personality and design from the Kahvi series. We went from the character being a snarky, confident, sexy hermit-wizard to a wet blanket in a sheer nightie.
Joy.
But anyway. Before I kick this series to the curb, I figured a more fitting good-bye would be getting art from one corner of this universe I actually still had fondness toward.
