After 18 chapters in the story, I've considered it's time to make an addendum with visual references for my two original characters; Aura Roja and Felicio Velasco.

Let's start with Aura Roja since I've found a Picrew that hits surprisingly close to what I have in mind for her. Said picrew is available here: https://picrew.me/en/image_maker/1432750

That's like... 80% accurate to how I envision her.

Now that I've put the cart before the horse, let's actually talk about how she came to my mind.

Edit: omg this looks horrible in Wattpad, I swear she looked just fine in the preview, sorry!

You might be wondering if the Terraria Zoologist appeared out of nowhere.

But no.

She lives rent free in my head, and so, she became the base of every female character I play every time I have to make a character in a videogame.

With Aura Roja, I took that base, and since the Zoologist is already a kemonomimi, there were little changes to turn her into an Uma Musume.

Personality wise it's better not to discuss it yet as I might give too many hints about her that could spoil future events. You can see she fits the same character type that's represented in Vodka or Jungle Pocket, I just went a bit more daring with her background.

With the release of Tomodachi Life on the Switch, a friend of mine asked to include me in her island, and I decided to mess around with her and create a base image of how I wanted Aura Roja to look. The result?

That's actually her first picture! Those "cat-like" eyes, the red eyeliner, her fangy teeth and that ruff cut on her eyebrow... Well the cut was meant to represent the parts that are mangled on her uma ears, but we've yet to get to that part of the story.

I had an interesting comment asking if said condition on her ears would affect her hearing and... Not really, she can hear just fine, but it's gonna taker her to trust someone a lot to let them touch her ears.

Her hairstyle was inspired by the protagonist of Mullet Madjack. Very fun and affordable game, you should try it! But her hair does not look exactly like that, what I have in mind for her is something closer to this:

I tried to describe this when she was looking at herself in the mirror before showering.

And I think that's it, face wise.

Boob size? The funniest possible for the situation.

Actually scrap that. We are in 2026, fuck's sake.

The Zoologist is the main inspiration but that doesn't mean she necessarily has to wield massive bob-ombkas. If anything, I'd envision her having better hips than bust.

And since we are talking about proportions, she can look at Air Groove eye-to-eye, so her height is around 165CM too, maybe a little taller. My girl might have some problems but her height and weight ain't one of them, she's on a good balance there.  That being said, bodies change over time, so in the hypothetical situation that someone drew fanart of her having a bit of belly? That would be awesome too.

And to finish it off with a casual outfit for her... You might have noticed how she keeps covering her legs. Guess what her favourite pants are:

In order to not spam too many images I compiled a fit for her; tanktop, bloomer pants and of course, a cool bomber jacket. You can't have a cool character without a cool jacket. Also fun fact: Every single picture I found online of that specific jacket seemed to be gone or was of terrible quality, so I had to take one myself.

I didn't include shoes because they are always conveniently cut out of the frame in the uma musume universe but...

I think these would go great with the bomber jacket, but she could also rock the sandals from the pants model in the picture.

Her unique racewear won't be revealed until the time comes. Until then, she'll wear the generic trackwear everyone uses in races with shorts and long black leggings. We can play around with the color of the shorts, the collar, and the sleeves of the shirt, though, which would be the same green as her eyes as a neat accent.
