Abigail Anne Folger or Gibbie as people called her, was born August 11,1943 in San Francisco, California. Her family was her parents Peter and Inez and her siblings Peter and Elizabeth. Her father Peter was the chairman of Folger Coffee Company. Abigail was a volunteer social worker in bad areas in Los Angeles and also worked at University of California art museum in Berkeley in 1967. She lett Berkeley for New York and work for a magazine publisher and later at Gotham Book Mart. Gibbie was introduced to Wojciech Frykowski and they started to date. In the summer of 1968 the couple moved to a house in Laurel Canyon,Los Angeles. She started to volunteer again and was a registered volunteer social worker. Her mother set up fundraisers at Haight-Ashbury Medical Centre, where many of Mansons girls went to. Gibbie and Sharon Tate was close friends and when Sharons husband was in London then she,Wojciech and Jay Sebring was with Sharon first at El Coyote Restaurant before going back to Sharons home, this was August 8, 1969. Gibbie faught for her life and her friends, she wrestled with Patricia Krenwinkel, Gibbie was stabbed several times but managed to escaped. Krenwinkel tackled her outside and killed her. Gibbie was a beautiful and smart young woman who wanted to help people.
