Location: Central Park

August was sitting in Central park and he loved to just see all of the different colors of the leaves that were appearing now that Autumn was here. As he looked around, he backed up to see if he could get a better view but that's when he realized he had stepped into someone and he turned quickly, looking at them. "I'm so sorry. I tend not to look where I'm going. It's a really bad habit of mine and I wish I would just do better but I'm struggling." August laughed.

August was always used to walking dogs when he was growing up. The family that he had been adopted into had dogs and he loved to be around them. After he went through college and then into the working life, he felt like he needed something to keep him grounded. He had gone through so many emotional points in his life and every time he was unsure about where he was supposed to go, he found a paw leading him the right way.

As Mae was attached to his waist by a leash, they walked along the boardwalk. He was lucky to not have to worry about her running off because even if she wasn't attached to him physically, he knew how to keep her close to him and bring her back. He felt her moving towards someone who was just minding their own business and he laughed softly, "Sorry, she's a nosy girl but I think that she gets that from her dad."
