This park is known for their massive waterfall but also has mountain biking, a three night backpacking trail, and allows game viewing from your own vehicle :) - We were actually just driving to a view point when we came around a corner and saw a small herd curiously looking back at us from atop this nearby hill.… Objects in real life may be farther than they first appear.🦒 My best giraffe impressions and some optical illusion fun on our fourth stop with 🇿🇦@meetsouthafrica at Augrabies Falls National Park on our tour celebrating 25 years of democracy in South Africa. This park is known for their massive waterfall but also has mountain biking, a three night backpacking trail, and allows game viewing from your own vehicle :) - We were actually just driving to a view point when we came around a corner and saw a small herd curiously looking back at us from atop this nearby hill. I was able to stand just outside the vehicle while @samkolder snapped this with the telephoto lens (goes without saying but you should always use caution and courtesy, never approach animals unless under specific guidance from a certified wildlife expert.) - My real takeaway from this stop though was an unlikely love for these gerbil beaver looking things called Dassies.
