Tick, tick, tick, tick. It feels like this clock has been going forever. Though forever really was only her entire life. 27 years of waiting trying not to pinpoint the exact date, because every time she did she could have sworn the time would change. So finally she had given up. She had just decided to let the clock tick and she would just live her life. No more double checking it every time she ran into somebody new. No more worrying that perhaps it would never stop.

And that was when she found him.

Clara had been running—searching for The Doctor—running as quickly as her short legs could take her that she only noticed the man who darted in front of her just when it was too late for her to stop.

Crashing hurt.

"Sorry. So sorry." She said in a rush trying to pick herself back up quickly not having a lot of time to waste. The Doctor was no doubt getting himself into loads of trouble. And that’s when she caught sight of her clock.
