I'm waking up a little. I was always told by everyone growing up that a relationship is 50/50. In any type of relationship, romantic or not, there's a give and take. There's a back and forth between two people to help each other learn, connect and grow. It takes a lot of effort, patience, perseverance and love to maintain, so why are we only giving half? It shouldn't be a half effort, it should be a full effort. It's not going to be perfect but if you legitimately care for someone, you put 100 percent effort as best you can. Relationships aren't 50/50, they're 100/100. I'm waking up a little.
