On National Beach Day, we're visiting the seaside community of Blackpool, Lancashire, England, including the beach, pier and ferris wheel, which served as a location in Stay Close (2021). Richard, as photojournalist Ray Levine (clockwise from top left) spends time gazing out at the water in ep 3 and walking by the carnival area. In ep 8, when he escapes police custody and returns to the beach, Ray is chased down and finally caught under the pier, where he gives up without a fight. ⛱️
