My absolute favorite classic book is Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I collect different editions because they all are unique and always so well done.
Let's take a moment to talk about how freaking amazing this book is. To the way it's written to the way it keeps you on your toes. It has deep characters, that not only are amazingly written (especially the women) but also have amazing development throughout the whole story. Not just during the climax. Shusterman writes real women, with actual heart, courage and bravery, without sacrificing their realness. I'm putting off reading the next book until the third book is released, knowing I'm just going to eat it up and regret it.
This series was hard for me to get back into because it had been so long since I had read the first book of the series. But I will say it didn't take me too long to get right back into it.
Gray writes so beautiful and deeply, her characters have so much depth which is very welcome in a series where you are really diving into the characters different forms across the universe.
I really got upset at the ending but that just means I really need to read the next book in the Firebird series.
But being the glutton I am I chose another book to read instead, the Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey
Also I do apologize for the long break I have recently taken but I am so glad to be back!
Home. My second favorite place to read: in bed.

Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch. This book was just as good as the first one if not better. I adored meeting and learning more about the structures of the world. I also loved how in depth Raasch went into about Rhythms and Seasons. I think it took me so long to read because there was just so much information. But I feel like that happens a LOT in sequels.
It was still a fun read. The way Raasch writes her characters is so interesting to me. And I love not only how much Meira grew in this book but also how much Mather did too. I also loved seeing things from his point of view. It was very important to the story in this book.
4/5 stars on Goodreads
I can't wait to read the next book. But first I'm going to read Ten Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray. Who is one of my favorite authors
World After by Susan Ee. Like all sequels to books, they're hard to get back into the story. I felt a mixture of both struggle getting back into the story and just the joy of following Penryn on her journey. Again, it is so beautifully written and so powerful. The way Ee writes the protagonist is amazing.
The background and lore about angels is also another amazing and interesting part of this book.
