As the Laurel vs. Yanny debate continues, we here at One Country have been split on what we hear. Half of our office hears Laurel, while the other, more intelligent half (you can tell which side I'm on) hears Yanny.
For those of you not familiar with the worldwide debate that has been covered by CNN, Good Morning America and just about every news outlet in the U.S., the above audio has been circulating on the internet, asking people which word they hear. Remember the dress debate that captivated America? Is the color of the dress black and blue or white and gold? Well, this is the same thing, only with audio. We're curious to know what word our One Country readers hear. Let us know.
Now, We all know that the word that was recorded was Laurel, however there was as distortion in the audio that allowed people to hear different words. Being able to hear a higher frequency allows people to hear the word Yanny. So even though the debate is over, people are still arguing. Those that can hear higher frequencies, hear Yanny and those that can't, hear Laurel, according to "Good Morning America's" TJ Holmes. So good luck with that.
