Anyone good with audio?
My mic is peaking when I raise my voice. To do a dramatic experiment, cranked my compressor to 50 and while my audio is super quiet and compressed, I can STILL hear the buzz when I raise my voice! Help me!
What adapters would I need to do line-in audio recording on my portable recorder from consoles such as Gamecube or PS3?
Wanted to throw this question out there, as I know there's plenty of folks on tumblr who are tech savvy and work in sound design/music.
Can someone link me to the type of adapter I would need to do line-in audio recording from a Gamecube or a PS3 (consoles that tended to suport the red, yellow, and white cables for video and audio)?
I found out the hard way that these kinds of cables actually have a lot of variation to them and ended up two sets of adapters that ended being the wrong size or fit. I want something where I could connect the red and white jacks from the consoles cable into a a stereo mixer that would then plug into a generic small audio jack on my portable recorder. I'm wanting to do this so I can record more video game ambience from console games.

does anyone have a good mp3 to midi site?
how do you upload audios?? Because I want to upload one so bad!!
since i have an iphone and i record mine on voice memos normally i first have to convert them from m4a to mp3 (you can do that online or through software, either works, i've done both), then you have to go to a desktop version of tumblr to post and switch OFF the beta for the new post editor. then it should give you an option to upload your own audio!
when i don't feel like pulling out my laptop i found that i can pull up the desktop site on safari on my ipad and upload through there as well if that works better for some people (you can switch how you view the site mobile/desktop at the AA button at the top of the screen)

Hey does anyone know how I could get audio files off of something on a computer? Like if itβs on a YouTube video or on Spotify? I might be able to find it on soundcloud too but I think that version is just the instrumental
