ive been using this (link) firefox’s add-ons for a week now and its great. this add-ons allows me to change the eq of audio sounds that was playing on the browser. i only use this cs mac never had a build-in eq. dont get me wrong cs i know that itunes had a build-in eq inside them but they could only be used for audio within itunes and not a universal eq. that being said; i mainly play audio using my desktop browser, and having no eq means like listening a sound from across the wall. theres that noticeable barrier that kinda dampen the audio as you hear them. the said barrier was even more thicker when you hear an audio from youtube cs all the compression data that had to be done within a video. which was entirely reasonable cs if not then youtube would need such a massive db—more than what they have now to store them all. the add-ons have a simple UI and its easy to use. my personal choice was either ‘headphones’ or ‘laptop speakers’. which depends on whether i plugged my earpods on or not. the audio difference between using the eq and not using them was spot on right away. the dampening barrier was gone which is great. well, at least for me. im using an outdated earpods btw, the wired ones. im sorry i cant guarantee that it would result in the same satisfaction that i had cs i really do think that the earphones that you were using is a key factor on whether the sound would deliver or not. such as—if i covered the end tip of my earpods canal—then the bass would disperse and not all outdated earphones have that separate woofer which divides trebles and basses. okay, thats it. i recommend anyone with the same interest to try using this add-ons.
