Tangerine Dream presented one strand of Krautrock that many developed into a variety of different electronic music forms. Klaus Schulze is one of those who did that and he was actually a member of the early incarnation the already mentioned band. His solo discography is almost as large as that of the previous group he was in, although he is closer to Vangelis than Tangerine Dream. To be more direct, Klaus Schulze seems to be like a crueler Vangelis. Whereas the Greek composer is much more gentle in his works, Klaus Schulze is not like that. Yes, you are correct, I haven't really heard that much from Klaus Schulze, only a couple of LPs, such as Audentity. It is a struggle, cause you know he is important, but sometimes you have no clue where to start with musicians like him, there is just so much of their output and you get scared.
