Path: Remembrance | Type: Imaginary (Reference.) (Headcanons.) In a time before the discord of Teyvat, Al-Haytham was invited as a celebrated scholar of the Akademiya to Khaen'riah to take part in their world-crossing ambitions under the wing of King Irmin. Though reluctant, Al-Haytham accepted but was soon embroiled in the monarch's mad drive to discover the "secrets beyond the skies" and was swept across worlds in a grave catatrosphe just before the onslaught of the Cataclysm. With his memory wiped and Vision rendered inert as a consequence of trespassing across the firmament, Al-Haytham wound up with no memory and nowhere to go. However, he was given some respite after a time when he fell under the gaze of the Aeon, Fuli, the Remembrance. With little else to do, Al-Haytham was ordained as an agent of the Garden of Recollection, working alongside their memokeepers across the universe to help preserve memories as a Scribe, a medium between the real and unreal. As Scribe, his foremost duty is the recording and creation of Light Cones, mystical phenomena the Garden is alone able to make, using the Garden's technology in the absence of the innate abilities memokeepers possess. Note: This AU aligns heavily with Al-Haytham's "expys", Su and Vita, from Honkai Impact 3rd. As Su is functionally a higher being capable of nigh-omniscience and communication across universes, his psychic bond and parallels to Al-Haytham are incorporated heavily. Su may recognize Hi3 muses and other expys and telepathically communicate information to Al-Haytham, but I will ask permission before implementing this in RPs. Su and Vita also will be featured as disembodied voices, as incorporeal beings, or augment their powers to Al-Haytham on very rare occasions.
