Eventually, in the efforts to stave off the ever eminent food comas, they'd both sat up- Well Drew more or less sat up for the most part, but his head lolled a little bit and now rested against his sister's shoulder. Whatever had been on the tv had turned into some retro movie from the 80's, and another entirely content silence fell between the two every so often and neither minded. That's what he loved about spending time with her. Time passed when they were apart, they changed so much in those times, but the times they spent together stayed the same. Not boring, really it was the perfect opposite of boring. It was spending time with somebody after being apart and knowing, just knowing, that they could pick up whenever their last conversation had left off, that the time and place they'd spent together would be a safe time and place, away from the world's bullshit. Drew couldn't help but think of his darkest times, back in high school when he was finding out so much about himself. Back before he really knew what not being 'totally straight' and not being 'totally gay' really meant. His parents understood (and accepted) even less than he did at the time. She really did save him, grounded him. In a world full of pain and fear and confusion, being able to run to and stay at Chae-Noona's place were the only times he felt okay. She'd even..talked him out of darker, more permanent sort of thoughts he'd had back then.. "Noona.." He sighed softly as he nuzzled close against her neck, still switching between English and Korean willy-nilly. "Don't worry about your schedules, okay? You saved my life so many times over the years. You were always there when I just... needed a break. Now I'll be there for you, okay?"
