her parents are hippies - hence her name being juniper rain. they run a small spiritual shop downtown and have quite a big online following due to the blog they run. ( juni loves her parents dearly. they’re quirky and weird but she loves them so much. )
ever since she was a child, she’s had great intuition - her parents, being the hippies they are, encouraged and nurtured this trait. now, she’s completely certain she’s kind of psychic, as are her parents. between her photographic memory and a fantastic intuition, she solved many ‘mysteries’ growing up.
now, she’s been commissioned to work closely with APD to solve murder cases. a lot of the cops aren’t too happy about it, but she’s needed nonetheless. she is also a living example of the trope person everyone assumes is stupid is actually very intelligent.
she recently went through a breakup because her girlfriend refused to recognize her Gift and broke up with her because she thought she was lying about her job.... rip. come plot w my babie
