Taking Bo-Stock in Antwerp
One minute a footballer can be flavour of the month, the next he’s yesterday’s man. It’s a cut-throat world where hot property can become damaged goods in the flick of an outstretched boot.

One Armed and Dangerous
"Anti-Semite? I'm not of that opinion. I'm not saying I'd never be one... I leave myself open to that possibility, but for the moment, no. I don't have to choose between the Jews and the Nazis."
"Me, you see, when I hear Patrick Cohen speak, I think to myself: "Gas chambers... too bad."
Both of the above quotes were made in the month of December 2013 by French comedian and political activist Dieudonne M’bala M’bala. Patrick Cohen is a prominent journalist in France, of Jewish faith, whom Dieudonne has had a public spat with.

The World Cup - A Tale of Two Teams, by Jason Roberts
The qualification process has been concluded and the 32 nations who have successfully qualified for the football carnival taking place next summer are now known. In this mythical ‘dream final’ we pit the cream of those who will be present in Brazil against an XI that should – but won’t. Can you guess who will win?
Football doesn't half throw up some weird quirks at times. The world’s most expensive player will not be going to the World Cup. Arguably the most coveted young Scandinavian player of all time – and there have been many – will also be watching the tournament from the stands, at best. In fact, no Scandinavian players will be there, for the first time since 1982. What would happen, though, if an eleven comprising of the best of the players that did qualify with their countries played a team comprising wholly of players that didn't? Let us hypothesise.

Could it be that Michel Platini has single-handedly changed the way football stadiums are designed and used in the 21st century? As the head of UEFA, Platini has outlawed the more unsustainable aspects of football finance by requiring clubs to break even over a rolling three-year period if they want to play in UEFA’s Champions League or Europa League.
