Sorry to do just one reply to everything...I'm a bit fried just now but thank you so so much for all of the lovely messages of support. It means so much and it's a huge comfort. Went to see Dad again today and he has a little more speech. It's obvious that speech aside, everything is still all there, he just can't make word connections and he's so frustrated! He's still swearing like a trooper and his friends have been visiting him which cheered him up. Hopefully this is the warning to retire properly that he needed. His work ethic is crazy and he has been working practically full time after "retiring" a couple of years ago. He needs to slow down if he wants to live until he's 200 and stuck on a diet of liquidised fruit gums and marzipan!Â
