Moriko: The death and rebirth of Moriko

Kohen the batarian, Operation Orthrus’s medical officer crawled out of some rubble, dusting off the dirt from his coat. He scrambled atop the stairs and saw his two superiors dead. Rather than spare them a second glance, he went towards Moriko, checking for a pulse. He found one, however faint it was. Letting out an angry sigh, he brought her in the lab and used what equipment he could find to stabilize her condition.
With the leaders of the operation dead, there was no reason for him to save the human girl, really. However, he knew the potential of keeping her alive. There were others who could remake the drug for him, given the chance, but only one specimen who had the power to endure the blood rage’s effects and still think coherently under it. Granted, she wasn’t /all/ there, but it was progress.
After he was done making sure the girl would survive, he had moved towards the console and found all of the information conveniently ready to be downloaded. The turian snooping around earlier hadn’t even tried to erase it. Fool.
Downloading the files onto his omni-tool, he began composing a letter to a certain organization that might be interested in his ideas…
