She finally looks up from her notepad, letting silence fall. Or, rather, fall once more. The quiet is something she's unfortunately used to, coming from both sides. Her patients rarely had the patience to truly express what was going through their mind, and most of the times took the sessions as an excuse to have a break at best, an hour wasted at worst; and Anya, who could barely qualify as a nurse, still, sometimes just... didn't know what to say. When your only qualification is having empathy, acting like a good therapist can be hard.
Impossible.
Especially with subjects who refuse to open up. How was she supposed to crack open those shells?
