Hive Elves: Bug Elves basically, the bug elements are Wasps meets Bees meets Termites meets Centipedes meets Spiders meets Scorpions... They lay eggs, usually inside living humanoids, and their sting has viral conversion effects. They think humans are absolutely DELICIOUS, as most Elves do, and the only way to survive being snatched and taken back to their hive is, you guessed it, becoming one of them. Their eggs incubate for a week, sucking nutrients from their host the whole time, and then early the eighth morning they HATCH. Remember, humans taste delicious... . The Unified are a group of parasitic worms much like out of a bad alien zombie vampire slasher film. They can sense emotions, they can smell uninfected humans the way most folk can smell a baking pie, and for fans of The Strain (never actually watched or read any of it... Yet!) I hear some of the lore will look pretty familiar. They spread through infected bodily fluids, turn their hosts into shambling bloodthirsty horrors, and oh god the worm proboscis thing... Its like Reaper vampires of Blade meets Brain Eater worms meets Every Zombie Slasher Ever Made meets 'joooooiiiiin usssss' alien mass mind control assimilation body horror tentacle squickathon. Or you know. Crossbreed the blue starfish octopus fungus parasite thing that Superman: The Animated Series called Unity with Reaper vampires and zombie contagion, concentrate for virulence, lethality, and predisposition to violent feeding. Slap a galaxy-sized hive mind on and BAM! The Unified, ladies and gentlemen! . Then there are the Atriixians, whose telepathy bundles them into a Collective with a Queen Mother Goddess Supreme. Yes, they are also race of parasites. As with Hive Elves, egg incubation inside the body cavities of living humanoids. Unlike Hive Elves, no birthing chew-chew-yum-yum fatalities. Yes humans taste damn good. Yes Atrii breed like crazy if left to their own devices. But but buuuut... Why eat the human and be satisfied for one night when they can grab a few dozen, fly back to homeworld, and build themselves an incubator harem? Once every few months, lay a clutch of eggs and make it mutually pleasurable. They get more babies per babe that way. So... Um... Yeah. Atrii have tentacles and blue usually, scaly reptilian skin sometimes, and slimy EVERY SINGLE TIME. Yes, fetish porn go wild. Just... Remember that Earth men have holes too, keep it equal opportunity eggpreg. Then you'll be just fine. . Hive Elves and Atriixians are both herm by default, although sizable populations of single-sex and other variants do exist in multiple star systems the galaxy over.
