it’s importnat to make the distinction that roxas argues with xehanort. braig does not.

roxas’s bitter “aye sir” is a lil bit of a call to muse’s psycho which is still my Absolute Top roxasnort song 

i’m fond of xehanort like watching roxas like “you gonna fucking disobey me??? i mean, by all means, it’d be interesting and wouldn’t completely ruin my plans, BUT”---smth about it made me think of vanitas, a bit?? how xehanort might have treated vanitas, all that time ago

there isn’t a hivemind thing going on here. Is Braig Xehanort? Yes. Is Roxas Xehanort? Yes! They’re always on the same page as him, but they have thoughts separate from him too. He’s not one person controlling three bodies, he’s one person with his heart split three ways. He holds sway over Braig and Roxas, and the lines between them are definitely blurred (where does Braig stop, and Xehanort begin? How much of Roxas’s personality is him, and how much is Xehanort?) but it’s not a hivemind.

the things I have left to talk about for this chapter are spoilers for a little bit, so I’ll bring ‘em up over the next couple of days, when I feel everyone’s had a chance to read this!! stay tuned folks
