Before we jump

“Stop! Stop!” Amaya cries out to Mick, hand reaching out and clamping hard around Ray’s wrist to tug him to a stand still. “Wait,” she breathes heavily as she spins on her heel to full face Ray, letting go of his wrist to reach up and tug his head down and press a firm, unrelenting kiss to his lips. 

“I love you,” she breathes as she pulls away and power walks over to repeat the action with Mick.

As she pulls away, “Okay,” she flashes them both a grin as she steps up towards the ledge, “I’m ready to jump,” then she’s falling.
