You start with a job. It normally isn't fun or interesting but hey man, they pay you. Then you realize your raises are barely going up with inflation. Then you realize your workload has doubled but no new employees have been added in your division in years. Then you realize your job is going nowhere and you are making basically nothing. You have no options. Your company just announced they are cutting 1000 jobs. So nothing is opening up. New jobs? Everything is temporary workers doing full time work. But hey. You have health care and live above a liquor store.
