Hey I’m 9 give me a break

Hey I’m 9 lay off me for fucks sake

You’re telling me I already know X Y or Zee

And when I tell you we did not do it last year you nod and say you don’t believe

But I’m 9

I’ve no agenda

I’ve a will, but you’re trying to bend it

You need to show me whose boss

I get that you’re probably out of teaching college

But seriously

How much do you need to intimidate me with your authority, height and age?

I’m 9 why when you stand in front of me, do I feel thinly veiled rage

Have you had any dreams unfulfilled?

So that you need to squash me, so that I feel quite ill

But I’m 9 for fucks sake

Give me a break

I think wow this cannot get any better

The Band with a reputation for being Good, Bad or Indifferent are now buzzing off a Dublin Crowd

They are totally into it

Us

As I glance around I see the us is

Us 18 – 68 possibly

But Us

Into the music

Into the excitement

Into the band

Into hwo great music is

When communicated and shared by people loving what the do

Who knows where the music will take us

I know

I know if the music is about

Communication

Shared dialogue

Shared emotional connection

Shared love (of the work)

Then the music can take us anywhere
