During a period overlapping with BSE epidemic, 6 greater kudu, 6 elands, 2 each of Arabian oryx and ankole cattle, and 1 each of gemsbok, nyala, scimitar-horned oryx and bison were diagnosed with EUE from UK. The affected animals had been fed meat and bone meal (MBM) derived from ruminants.”
