Actually could cry about the fact the Atavachron doesn't exist in real life. For a couple hours, you could literally walk into the past of your planet. Imagine the possibilities on Earth. Tumblr users could stab Julius Caesar and be back for lunch. Hardcore theater nerds could see how Shakespeare's plays were originally performed. I personally would go slap Herodotus for lying about the Battle of Carthage. Heck, military history fans could watch the Battle of Carthage or any kind of battle fold out in real time. And think about what the Atavachron would do to the sciences?!? Historians could go back in time to interview primary sources. Scientists could take samples from the ice age. The Atavachron would be cited in so many academic papers.
