Hii, sorry it took me a little while to answer this! Ironically, I've been a little absent because I am writing their story with my friend (uni break for us both, we finally have some free time) 🤣. Thank you for taking an interest in my beloved boys 💜
Noah and Kawan are two of my main characters of a story I have been writing with a friend for many years. It's a kind of open world? Each has like, between 100 and 300 characters haha, and we write scenes of them interacting, pretty much. There's 5 kingdoms, we write 1 together and split the other 4 so each one has 2, and we get to make most decisions about our own kingdoms. And we split responsibility over other things, like: I'm responsible for the map (we're redoing it, that's what I am most busy with this week regarding hobbies haha) and magical system, for example.

Regarding Noah and Kawan, we've been FINALLY writing how they met and details of their lifes. Kawan is the third prince of a kingdom, is the favoured of his mother (horrible narcissistic woman-) and the only one with magic out of his brothers, while Noah is his Royal Companion (translating, I think that would be it). Basically, the Queen bought Noah from his mother when he was 6 because Kawan had almost died (he is a sick boy) and wanted Noah to live with them in the Palace. So, Noah was a consolation gift, pretty much. They grew to be pretty much brothers, despite everything. That's why I said they are a bonded pair and can't be separated! They're always together, they know each other more than anyone else does, Noah grew to be his Royal Protector (a step up from Royal guard) so they're really protective of each other, etc. I say "grew" compared to his 6 years old self, because they're both only 16 now.

(I could go on about the fact technically this kingdom only accepts kings and queens with magic but then Kawan's father killed everyone in the Royal family and became king without magic, and people had rumors because his children didn't have magic (magicless royals were killed before even being presented to the realm before him) and then Kawan has magic and now half the realm wants Kawan on the throne instead of his brother, and his mother (has magic) wants that because then she would pretty much be regent and more powerful after the king dies and– but we're not going to go there. 🙂↕️.)
